Revisions and Final Approval Policy

Effective date: July, 2026

This Policy defines revision rounds, consolidated feedback, scope changes, factual review, technical corrections, and the point at which a video is considered finally approved.

1. Included Revisions

The number of included revision rounds is stated in the service description, quote, invoice, or written confirmation. A revision round means one consolidated set of comments submitted after review of a provided version.

2. What Counts as a Revision

Revisions generally include reasonable changes to timing, clip selection, text placement, audio levels, transitions, captions, or other elements already within the approved direction. Revisions do not automatically include a new concept, replacement of most source footage, substantial runtime expansion, new deliverables, additional platforms, or a change in the project’s objective.

3. Consolidated Feedback

The client should gather comments from all decision-makers before submitting feedback. Comments should identify exact timestamps, requested changes, replacement text, and priority. Conflicting or piecemeal feedback may be treated as separate revision rounds or additional work.

4. Review Period

Feedback should normally be provided within five business days unless another period is agreed. Delayed feedback may affect the production schedule and may require the project to be rescheduled.

5. Additional Revisions

Revision requests beyond the included allowance are billed separately. The studio may provide an additional estimate based on the extent of the requested changes and the time required.

6. Factual and Legal Review

The client is responsible for verifying names, titles, claims, product information, pricing, dates, disclosures, permissions, and legal compliance. The editing process does not constitute legal, advertising, or factual verification.

7. Final Approval

Approval may be given by email, project platform, written message, instruction to export, payment of a final invoice where approval is stated, or publication of the video. Once final approval is given, the creative edit is considered accepted.

8. Post-Approval Changes

Changes requested after final approval are treated as new work unless they correct a technical error introduced by the studio. New work may require a separate fee and schedule.

9. Technical Corrections

If the studio delivers a file that does not match the approved version or agreed export specification because of a studio error, the affected file will be corrected when reported within seven calendar days after delivery.

10. Timestamped Review Comments

Where practical, revision comments should use exact timestamps and identify the requested change, replacement wording, and intended result. General instructions such as “make it more dynamic” may require clarification and do not identify a specific correction.

11. Conflicting Feedback

If multiple reviewers provide inconsistent instructions, the studio may pause revisions until the client supplies one authorized, consolidated decision. Time spent reconciling conflicting comments may be treated as additional project administration.

12. Previously Approved Elements

Reversing a previously approved structure, music choice, title style, sequence, or visual direction may count as additional work because the earlier approval caused the studio to proceed to later production stages.

13. Caption and Text Corrections

The client must verify captions, names, prices, contact details, claims, and on-screen text. Corrections based on inaccurate client-supplied wording may use a revision round or require additional work after final approval.

14. Version Control

The studio may name review versions sequentially. The client should review only the most recent designated version and should not combine comments from obsolete drafts unless expressly requested.

15. Publication as Acceptance

Publication, paid promotion, client distribution, broadcast, website embedding, or delivery to a third party may be treated as acceptance of the published version, subject to correction of a confirmed technical export error.
