1. Nature of Services

Montavise Edits provides creative and technical video editing and post-production services. Information on the website is general service information and is not legal, financial, tax, advertising, platform-compliance, copyright-clearance, cybersecurity, or professional business advice.

2. No Performance Guarantee

Editing quality can improve clarity, pacing, organization, and technical presentation, but the studio does not guarantee views, engagement, subscriber growth, sales, leads, conversion rates, monetization, advertising approval, search ranking, audience retention, or commercial success.

3. Platform Decisions

YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, advertising networks, websites, and other platforms control their own compression, moderation, copyright detection, monetization, account access, and technical requirements. The studio is not responsible for platform actions, algorithm changes, rejected uploads, account restrictions, or loss of reach.

4. Client Content and Claims

The client is responsible for the legality and accuracy of scripts, statements, product claims, testimonials, prices, disclosures, music, images, trademarks, and other supplied content. Editing does not verify factual claims or create permission to use protected material.

5. Source Quality

Final quality is limited by the quality and completeness of source footage, audio, images, and instructions. Some defects cannot be fully corrected. Basic cleanup does not guarantee restoration of damaged, missing, corrupted, heavily compressed, clipped, or poorly recorded media.

6. Color and Display Differences

Color, contrast, brightness, sound, captions, and framing may appear differently across devices, displays, browsers, platforms, headphones, speakers, and upload systems. The studio cannot guarantee identical playback in every environment.

7. Deadlines

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Client delays, transfer issues, third-party outages, expanded scope, revision timing, and force majeure events may affect the schedule.

8. External Links and Services

The website or project workflow may reference third-party file-transfer, review, payment, storage, music, stock, or platform services. Their availability, security, pricing, and terms are controlled by those providers.

9. Limitation

Use of the website and services is subject to the Terms of Service and incorporated policies. Clients should obtain independent professional advice where a project involves legal clearance, regulated claims, privacy rights, advertising compliance, or other specialized requirements.

10. Editing Is Not Legal Clearance

The studio may identify an obvious concern, but it does not perform a legal clearance review of footage, music, trademarks, claims, privacy rights, releases, or advertising disclosures. The client should obtain qualified advice where clearance is important.

11. Automated Captions and Transcription

Automated transcription and caption tools may misinterpret names, accents, technical terms, numbers, or speech. The client must review all captions and transcripts before publication.

12. Color Correction and Restoration Limits

Basic color correction, denoising, stabilization, and audio cleanup can improve some material but cannot recreate information that was never recorded or recover every defect caused by clipping, blur, compression, missing frames, distortion, or poor lighting.

13. Third-Party Artificial Intelligence Policies

Platforms and software providers may introduce automated moderation, content detection, transcription, or generative features. Their outputs and policies are controlled by those providers and may change without notice.

14. Audience and Advertising Decisions

The client remains responsible for audience targeting, media buying, claims, disclosures, landing pages, offer terms, campaign settings, and compliance with advertising rules. The studio’s role is limited to the editing scope.

15. No Guarantee of Compatibility With Future Standards

Files are prepared to the agreed specifications at the time of delivery. The studio does not guarantee compatibility with future software, devices, platform requirements, codecs, or operating systems.
